We’re haulin’ some hemoglobin today on Beta Max TV as Arachna and her bucket o’bones buddy Deadly present the 1959 Roger Corman classic A BUCKET OF BLOOD on Beware Theater. Dick Miller stars as Walter Paisley, a dim-witted busboy in a beatnik hangout who wants to be an artist because they get all the attention. He struggles to find his inspiration until he stumbles on the method of using the actual model covered with plaster as the sculpture itself. This gets good results, but he never gets to use the same model twice. And when the customers start disappearing, people start to wonder!
Deadly gets inspired to start his own artistic career as a sculptor but Arachna is not quite as enthusiastic about his methods as he is!
It’s a plethora of parody of the beatnik beat and a good dose of black comedy and horror. Beware Theater presents A BUCKET OF BLOOD on your home for B-movies…and art (of a sort)! Beta Max TV!!!
